We use the Bilona method, that is an ancient traditional method of making ghee in India, which involves churning curd made from milk using a wooden churner called "bilona". The process results in a pure, high-quality ghee that is considered to be very healthy and nutritious.
Here is a step-by-step process of how we prepare our A2 cow ghee:
- First of all we take fresh milk of Desi Cows and heat it in an earthen pot till it starts boiling.
- After this we let the milk cool down at room temperature, and add some curd to it.
- Then cover the vessel and leave it undisturbed for about 8-10 hours, until the curd is set.
- In the morning our lady farmer takes the curd and churns it with a wooden churner (Bilona) till the butter separates from the buttermilk.
- After that we collect the butter and transfer it to a heavy bottom vessel and heat it on low flame till the butter melts completely and it turns golden brown in color and ghee The fragrance did not start coming. This is the stage where our ghee is made.
- Finally, we filter the ghee with a sieve or mesh strainer and fill it in a clean, dry jar. And let the ghee cool down to room temperature before storing it.
Our same Bilona method of making Ghee produces a superior quality Ghee which is rich in nutrients and has a distinct aroma and taste. It is considered much healthier than ghee made by other methods.
Do you know that we are different from others-
Our A2 cow ghee is different from others as it is made from the milk of purebred Indian cows that have A2 beta-casein protein. This makes it healthier and easier to digest compared to ghee made from A1 cow milk. Our ghee is made using traditional methods and is free from additives and preservatives, ensuring a pure and natural product. We also source our milk from women farmers who use ethical and sustainable farming practices, ensuring the best quality product.
Bazaru Ghee, and Two Farmers Organics Ghee-
We are telling you a simple, but very important calculation-
Pure ghee comes in the market from 400 to 1200 rs / liter, you should be aware and think that how does pure ghee come so cheap? Whereas let us tell you that after processing 18-20 liters of milk, 1 liter of ghee is made. The cost of only milk is 18*70=1440 rs, so how come 1 liter of ghee made from 18 liters of milk is so cheap?
That's why our ghee is not cheap, because Bilona ghee cannot be cheap.
Health benefits of our A2 cow Ghee-
A2 cow ghee is made from the milk of A2 cows. A2 cows are a specific breed of cows that produce milk that is high in A2 beta-casein protein, which is easier to digest than the A1 beta-casein protein found in milk from most other cows. As a result, A2 cow ghee offers a range of health benefits, including:
Rich in healthy fats: A2 cow ghee is a rich source of healthy fats, including medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) and butyric acid. MCTs are easily digested and provide a quick source of energy, while butyric acid has anti-inflammatory properties that can help to support gut health.
